Polka Dot Wedding feature / Uppy + Sam’s Fairground Follies Bowral Wedding

Polka Dot Wedding feature / Uppy + Sam’s Fairground Follies Bowral Wedding // Uppy + Sam had a really clear vision on what they wanted their big day to look like. Sharing a passion for music and creativity and seeing their wedding day as an opportunity to craft something totally unique, it would be fair to say that they nailed their brief and then some!

Their ceremony and reception was held in one of the most unique spaces I’ve ever visited, a hidden gem in Bowral called Fairground Follies. A warehouse filled to the brim with carnival mechanical antiques and memorabilia including an actual carousel, Craig who own Fairground Follies it is an avid collection of all things carnival and happily shares his passion for the amazing collection that he has amassed over many years. And he assures me that he still has many more grand plans for this passion project!

While I was a late addition to their big day (Uppy + Sam had to postpone their previous wedding date due to you know what… and their original celebrant, the lovely Theresa Mullan, was unfortunately not available for their new date) I so enjoyed my time getting to know these two and coming up with something that matched the vibe they were after for their big day.

Wonderfully captured by the amazing Mitch Pohl Photography and with Craig Holbrook on film, their big day was recently featured on the Polka Dot Wedding blog – enjoy xx
