Marry Me Nicky Packages
Weddings are no longer a one-stop shop.
If anything, the chaos of the past few years has taught us that you don’t need a big wedding to get married. You don’t even have to get married on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm *gasp* – people got married on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s, and every other day of the week, and are still doing so!
Some couples choose to have a big grand event, and if that’s what you’re after, wonderful, I’m all here for it. But you can also just get married, without a huge wedding, and in a way that feels right for you.
I offer three different ceremony packages, from a fully personalised ceremony that shares your story, through to elopements, and a bare bones, legals only package.
Different strokes for different folks, all outlined below.

ULTIMATE LOVE EDIT is perfect for;
Couples inviting along your favourite people to celebrate their big day, think venues, private properties, reserved public places – spaces we can hold a crowd.
Where and when: Sydney and beyond, Monday to Sunday.

RUNAWAY ROMANCE is perfect for;
Couples looking to get married without having a big wedding, intentionally small and intimate, think sunrise at your favourite beach, late morning down at your local park followed by a fancy celebratory lunch, or even on the deck of a beautiful Airbnb you’ve hired for a getaway with your closest mates.
Where and when: Sydney and beyond, Monday to Sunday (limited dates).
Includes:
Ceremony Overview Brief (where we also sign-off on your Notice of Intended Marriage, note: this chat isn’t as detailed as the Ultimate Love Edit package as there is less storytelling in this type of ceremony) | Preparation of legal marriage documents | Unlimited email and phone support in the build-up to your wedding| Vow writing support and guidance | Vow cards printed for you | Nicky to conduct your ceremony | Commemorative Marriage Certificate | Lodgement and registration of your marriage with Births, Deaths & Marriages.

HITCHED WITHOUT FUSS is perfect for;
Couples who want to get married without the bells and whistles but at somewhere more personal that the Registry Office, or who perhaps are having a (non-legal) wedding overseas but would like the convenience that comes with being married in Australia (easier process to change your name and provide evidence of your marriage, etc.), think at home, or at your favourite local park, beach or pub.
Where and when: Sydney only, Monday to Friday.

What’s the difference between an Elopement and a Micro Wedding?
The lines between an elopement and micro wedding can occasionally seem blurred – but they don’t need to be.
Elopements for me are intimate, intentionally small moments shared with just a handful of people. They are much more flexible as less traditions are followed. For example, we don’t have a formal walk down the aisle, you might instead be enjoying a glass of bubbles with everyone beforehand and when you’re ready we’ll begin the ceremony. An elopement is often just the couple with a celebrant and perhaps a photographer, no guests or only 1–2 witnesses. Super intimate, often spontaneous feeling. The focus is on the couple. This would be perfect for a RUNAWAY ROMANCE ceremony.
Micro weddings are essentially a smaller scale traditional wedding with less guests but still involve the more structured elements, i.e. a ceremony that contains storytelling, you might also have a wedding party, ceremony music, and guests moving from the ceremony into drinks and a meal. A micro wedding often only has a small group of loved ones there, is still intimate, but shared with family/friends. Has more of a “traditional ceremony” feel (just scaled down). The focus is on the couple, witnessed by their people.
In the simplest terms, an elopement is private, whereas a micro wedding is intimate, but shared. If you’re hosting guests (i.e. providing food, drinks, etc.), it’s a micro/smaller wedding. If you’re not, it’s an elopement.
If my involvement means I’m presenting to a crowd of 10 or more people, or if you want detailed storytelling woven into your ceremony, then the ULTIMATE LOVE EDIT ceremony is what you’re after. The preparation and delivery between the ULTIMATE LOVE EDIT and RUNAWAY ROMANCE ceremonies are quite different, along with the expectations of guests attending. In my experience the RUNAWAY ROMANCE ceremony is too informal for a micro wedding.
