REAL WEDDING // Ash + Jarryd, Fun Family Property Wedding in Newcastle
Your wedding ceremony is often a bit like a rollercoaster – full of ups and downs as you ride the waves of emotion. And I dare say every single guest and vendor (myself included) rode the wave of Ash + Jarryd’s wedding ceremony as we celebrated their love.
Sharing a deep, emotional connection that is clear for all to see what I loved most about these two is how much they respected their relationship. Their road to happily ever after (like most) wasn’t always straight-forward yet coming back into each other’s lives at the right time meant they were never going to take their love for granted. They deeply respect and care for each other, along with the important people in their lives, and it’s clear that these shared values have helped them create a wonderful relationship, and now, a wonderful marriage. And wowzers do they know how to throw a fun party!
Their original wedding day plans were wrecked-havoc by the pandemic – their big Hunter Valley wedding was abruptly turned into a more intimate and fun celebration closer to home, on a family owned property in Newcastle. I was blown away by the stunning set-up they had created – with a beautiful gully behind us and getting married underneath the most wonderful tree, knowing that this spot would always hold a special place in their hearts it felt like it was where they were meant to have been married here all along. Home really is where your heart is.

He’s Sydney based but like me travels all over the place), he could not have captured their day more beautifully… right down to the most epic confetti walk-off I’ve ever seen with Jarryd becoming the unsuspecting victim!
