REAL WEDDING // Worrowing Jervis Bay

Imagine meeting your future husband or future wife when you were just a kid. The thought of meeting my own husband as a 9 year old does make me chuckle but that’s exactly what happened in Lauren and Tom’s case.

Their families were part of an extended group of friends that would all holiday together each summer down at Vincentia in Jervis Bay. In amongst beach swims, barbeques and touch footy games, a friendship began that as the years went on would later blossom into so much more. Their families as you can imagine were over the moon at their union and given their strong connection to the area Tom and Lauren could not have picked a more beautiful venue to celebrate their marriage than at the amazing Worrowing Jervis Bay.

Family was a big focus of Lauren and Tom’s ceremony – in planning for their big day the way they spoke about how important family was to them both and how influential and supportive they have been in their lives made it very clear to me that this needed to be acknowledged. Their ceremony was full of love, laughter and hugs (these were pre-Covid times – by only a few short weeks they managed to beat that hot mess). They were married in amongst the formal gardens outside of the Georgian style Homestead with their reception held in The Hereford Shed.

Worrowing is such a unique property – set on 250 acres and surrounded by wildlife and bush yet just a few minutes from Jervis Bay’s beautiful beaches. With onsite accommodation for over 50 guests and extensive options as to where and how you host your big day if you’re looking to get married on the NSW South Coast it is definitely a venue that you need to check out.

Thank you Lauren and Tom for letting me be part of your wonderful celebrations – wishing you both a lifetime of happiness today.

N xx
